CATHERINE KISTENMACHER SCHOLARSHIP
AWARDS 2010
A permanent scholarship fund was established in 2008 as a memorial to Catherine Kistenmacher who had chaired the EPAA scholarship committee for nearly twenty years. The fund provides an opportunity for patrons to give a tax-deductable contribution in Mrs. Kistenmacher’s memory to benefit worthy high school graduates from El Paso who seek to further their education at colleges or art schools.
Each year for the past twenty-two years the El Paso Art Association has awarded two scholarships to students graduating from El Paso high schools who planned on attending college to major in the visual arts. That tradition continues with some exciting modifications for 2010.
